Great Commission Christians
Are not content to simply believe the Gospel and enjoy the personal benefits but...
- Go into the world to share the gospel with others. (Mark 16:15)
- Witness with the Word of God by the power of the Holy Spirit. (John 17:17-21; Luke 24:47-49)
- Show others their need for repentance and forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:47;
Matt. 9:12-13) - Help others follow Christ’s commands and become His committed Disciples. (Matt. 28:19-20;
Eph. 4:11-16)
It is the mission of the Go Forth Alliance to help Christians move away from the great omission and into the Great Commission by getting them involved in Effective Evangelistic Outreach, Ongoing Biblical Discipleship and Fruitful Church Planting

Your Prayer Stand will be a welcome witness in your community. As soon as you set up your Prayer Stand any public place becomes a sanctuary where burdened souls can share needs and call on the Lord. Every born again Christian wants to be used by God to touch the lives of others. The prayer stand is your open door to an effective ministry to your local community. Christians love it and the community is blessed that you care! We have been using Prayer Evangelism for 10 years and it has proved to be our most effective means for reaching souls.

Preaching in Union Square
We have been sharing the gospel with large crowds of youth in Union Square. We hope to start a church in this busy place.
Over 10,000 Tracts handed to Evolution Audience
For 5 Days the Godless message of Evolution was taught to thousands of children brought to the "Walking with Dinosaurs" event at Madison Square Garden. After every show we handed their parents gospel literature about Dinosaurs, God's creation and Christ's redemption.
Praying on Fulton Mall
We are always busy praying with souls and sharing Christ when we set up the Prayer Stand on Fulton Mall in Brooklyn.
Prayer Stand in Union Square
Union Square Manhattan is full of hundreds of youth every night. We sharing Christ and answer questions till late at night here. We seldom get home until after midnight because the crowds of young people keep us so busy. You could share the gospel 24/7 in this park if you didn't need rest. W
Evangelism, Discipleship and Church Planting!
Jesus modeled to his disciples how to obey the great commission. He proclaimed the gospel to the public, and then discipled those who seriously responded in small group settings. The apostles replicated this in their ministry. All the first century Christians understood this methodology and followed it. The church at Ephesus was not a church building, it was all the Christians in the area of Ephesus. In Acts 20:20 the Apostle Paul reminds the Elders from Ephesus what he did as a wise master builder to establish Christ's church: "I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house." Paul's method was the same as Christs: He proclaimed the truth to the public and discipled those who responded in house church settings.
You don't need a big budget, a large expensive church building and a professional staff to impact your community! You can be an effective public witness and easily disciple people in your home. If you are a Pastor, don't try to do everything yourself. Get your people involved discipling others in home cell meetings.

2000 years ago the first Christians went everywhere proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. They made great sacrifices and experienced the power of the Holy Spirit working thru them. Lives were changed as God's grace was poured out and people became followers of Jesus Christ. Those early Christians are gone . . . they "fought a good fight and kept the faith."
It is the responsibility of all the Christians alive today to reach all the lost souls alive today.
There are more people alive on Earth today than at any time in history. We must be about the Masters business: "To seek and to save that which is lost." God commands us to SEEK FIRST His Kingdom and His Righteousness. We must obey Christ's Great Commission . . . it is our top priority . . . by God's grace we can!
