We believe the doctrine that once a person is saved they are always saved is not only unscriptural but also has a general tendency to deter people from repentance, gives false hope to unbelievers and produces lukewarmness in sincere Christians.

The Go Forth Alliance recognizes the dangers accompanying the common teaching of Eternal Security, (OSAS - Once Saved Always Saved) need to be clearly discussed. Rather than taking the time to develop our own material on the subject we have provided links to other web sites that do a good job pointing out many of the problems with this unscriptural teaching. You need to understand Scriptures clear teaching on the subject of the Believer's Conditional Security!

I recommend the following links with this qualifier. The publishers of the following web page links do a fine job exposing the problems with current Eternal Security teaching. I am disappointed that many of them also imply that those ministers and teachers who believe in Eternal Security are apostates who are in league with the Devil. I disagree! I have been greatly blessed by many of these ministries. You will find links in other parts of The Go Forth Alliance even highly recommending some of their materials. I believe most of the men and ministries quoted on the subject of Eternal Security love God and are being used by God to reach many people. I am not ashamed to call them my brothers and I am not ashamed to recommend some of their writings, nor am I ashamed to work with them. Still I believe their ministries would be of greater use to the ongoing work of God if they dropped this unscriptural teaching and continued on with a more solid scriptural foundation in this area.

Our ministry often works with sincere Christians who believe in OSAS. We do not separate ourselves from any Christian or Ministry over this theological issue when it is evident that they love God. If they are endeavoring to reach the lost we want to do all we can to make them even more effective! We are not ashamed to bless or aid any body of true Christians who are endeavoring to reach our lost world with the transforming grace of Jesus Christ.

My many friends who believe in Eternal Security, please do not cast me out as a heretic, someone not worthy of your fellowship, because I do not believe in Eternal Security. I see your love for God, your zeal. Because you are precious to me I have added this web page hoping it may be a blessing to you. I realize many of you have not thought deeply on the Eternal Security subject. Most of you have not heard clear teaching on the Conditional Security of the Believer even though you have read it over and over in the Scripture. In the spirit of Christian love please consider the influence this doctrine is having on the effectiveness of your ministries.

If after you have read through the following links we do not agree on the subject of Conditional Security may we continue to agree to “love one another with a pure heart fervently” and show it in our words and in our actions. I embrace you as a brother and am happy to labor side by side with you for the furtherance of the Gospel. May our love for Christ cause us all to humbly walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
