NYC Ministry Activities

It is our goal to impact the People and World Cultures of New York City on as large a scale as possible with the Gospel. We focus on the following areas:

Evangelistic Outreach

Taking the Gospel outside the Church and into the streets is an absolute necessity for God's Kingdom to advance. Most people will never darken the Church door unless the Church takes its message out to them first. Why keep the Good News inside the Church when we have freedom to take it to the masses? We organize open air evangelism campaigns involving our family and other Believers where we pray with the lost, lead them to Christ and proclaim Jesus Christ. Our most effective method uses "prayer stations." A prayer station is a table with Christian literature on it and a banner above it that says: "Prayer Station." We pass out tracts and ask people walking by if they have any needs we can pray for. People are very responsive and it often leads to confession of sin and praying for salvation. People give us their name, phone and address for prayer and/or followup.

Small Group Discipleship

It is important that new believers be discipled in an intimate small group setting. We are not simply interested in one time evangelism encounters. We pray for "Divine Encounters." God sends us souls who are responsive to the Gospel and are interested in being discipled. These are invited to "cell meetings" which are small home church meetings of approximately 12 people or less that are designed for discipleship.

Church Planting

When we obey Christ's great commission by going into the world to proclaim the gospel, and gathering those individuals who seriously respond into small home groups for discipleship, we are doing church as Jesus and the early church did. In this environment Christ builds His church. As small groups grow God raises up members from the group who start another small cell group and start the process of discipling new believers again. These house churches gather together in larger services to worship God, receive instruction, pray, and celebrate what God has done in the lives of new believers who have been added to the cell groups.

PRAY FOR LABORERS!

Pray for the Go Forth Alliance. Pray that God will give us wisdom and grace that will benefit others. Pray for the children of our workers as they continue with their education and minister to others. The Lord Jesus Christ and the Millions of Souls in New York City and around the World have captured our hearts and we invite you to share our vision. God's work goes forward when His body comes together as a mighty army, guided and empowered by the Holy Spirit to press the battle and win the conflict.

Please pray daily that God will send forth laborers who will partner with us in this mighty goal of reaching the lost, discipling the saved and planting churches. Laborers who pray daily for us, laborers who serve alongside us, laborers who financially give toward the needs before us.

God has done great things through His church in past generations. He has called our generation to reach this generation. He has called us for such a time as this. Christ wants His body to reach the lost multitudes in NYC. He wants us to shine the light of his wonderful salvation to those who have not heard. What a vast harvest field! Let us rise up and build! Let us go forth and make disciples! Let us obey Christ's Great Commission and He will build His church! With Christ in the lead the gates of hell cannot prevail against us! Let us follow His leadership with all our heart, mind, soul and strength, all we are and all His grace can make us!
