Prayer Evangelism is the most successful method we have found to evangelize people on the streets of New York City. We set up a Prayer Stand with a red Prayer banner above it. We then pass out tracts and ask people as they walk by: "Do you have any needs you would like me to pray for?" We pray for all requests right there on the street. It is normal for us to pray with hundreds of people each week. People are not offended by prayer and as we seek God for them through Prayer Evangelism, God opens up marvelous opportunities for us to talk and pray for their deepest need: 'Salvation.' People seek God for salvation continually.
