2009 Summer Evangelism in NYC

NYC God continues to do wonderful things on the streets this summer. Below are some pictures and video from some of this years outreaches.

Last year God blessed us with a wonderful team of young men from Texas. They are back again this year. Above is a 25 minute video I recorded of Sean Morris pouring his heart out, testifying to the grace of Jesus Christ. Sean has been saved 5 years. At least one person repented and put there trust in Christ during this days outreach. Our new style Prayer Station can be seen in the background.

New Style Prayer Station - Union Square

We have been testing out our new prototype Prayer Station. It is more compact, has holders for literature, sign can be viewed from every side and fits into a bag you can carry. They will be available end of 2009.

Crowd Control for Preaching in Union Square

Union Square Preaching ZoneWe put down tape in a circle where we will be preaching. The crowd understands they are to stay outside the circle. A square at one side is the question box and anyone from the crowd can stand in the box and ask questions which we will answer. There are usually some vocal hecklers trying to distract but they are a blessing because they help expand the crowd. People want to see how we will deal with them. They can be quite blasphemous so watch any of our video with care. They are unedited recordings. We take turns preaching and have a large crowd surrounding us, preaching continues for hours. The crowds of people continue as late as we go. Notice how many people are not making trouble but taking in the word as it is being preached.
