Announcing the Wedding of Anna Kiser & Rick Trudeau!

The Kiser's are delighted to announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter Anna Kiser to Richard (Rick) Turdeau on August 1, 2008. This page contains helpful information for family and friends who are coming to the wedding and need travel and lodging information.

About Anna Kiser

Anna is the daughter of Tom and Faith Kiser. She has grown up in the heart of this NYC ministry and has been an important member of our ministry team. She has also been a member of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Youth Ensemble, worked with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Youth Ministry and tutored at the Brooklyn Tabernacle's Learning Center. She first met Rick when he came to NYC last Summer with an evangelism team from Lake Placid. She got to know Rick personally while attending North Country Community College in Saranac Lake and presently works at Adirondack Audiology in Saranac Lake.

About Rick Trudeau

Rick is the son of Donna Cantwell and stepson of Robert Cantwell. He lost his father (Richard Trudeau) in a snow mobile accident when he was young. Rick owns and operates a contracting business and saw mill in Saranac Lake NY. He built his own log home (see pictures to right) when he was a teenager.

The biggest achievement in his life is not his success in business but the dynamic change made in his life by Jesus Christ. Rick loves to share the gospel with everyone he meets and was the officiating minister at the wedding of Heidi Schreyer to James Damaré. Rick's passion for sharing Jesus Christ with others rises from the life changing effect someone's witness had on him. He met a Christian man at the lumber yard who gave him a small booklet that opened his eyes to his need of a savior. If you would like to read that booklet yourself and evaluate it's life changing message you can read it at this link.

Want to go canoeing? The Adirondacks are filled with beautiful lakes. THE ST. REGIS CANOE AREA is a pond hopper's paradise located approximately 15 miles northwest of the village of Saranac Lake. The St. Regis is the largest wilderness canoe area in the Northeast U.S., offering some of the most stirring and serene paddling to be found anywhere. The Canoe Area is easily accessed, making for a great selection of half day, full day, and multi day excursions. We recommend the historic "Route Of The Seven Carries," beginning at Little Clear Pond and ending at Upper St. Regis Lake. You can camp along the way, or do the trip in an easy day! There are numerous primitive campsites throughout the Canoe Area which are available on a first come basis. Note that motor boats are not permitted on these waters. If you want to spend more than one day on a canoe camping trip then check out these possible routes
